Vienna is a small capital with an oversized inheritance. Everything worth seeing sits inside the Ring, which makes two days unusually productive.

Build the days around one museum and one performance, and leave long gaps for coffee houses — they are the point, not the interval.

Day 1 — Pictures and the opera
